UNIT 10 VIDEO LESSONS
This unit is composed of two videos that highlights two different and opposite ways of teaching. It is mostly focused on how the attitude of a teacher in teaching students as a critical teaching technique in order to transfer knowledge effectively. The content and the subject familiarity comes second in the video when it comes to what it wants to portray since as a teacher it is a given that one must possess sufficient knowledge to a what he/she is teaching but attitude comes first. Attitude is the glue to all kinds of relationships. The teacher must show an attractive character in order to get the attention of the students without resentment or prejudice or at least to lessen the likelihood of negative judgement at the back of their min as this can lead to their own impediment to their own learning.
The videos truly showed how much difference a teacher can make just by altering attitude and taking care of his/her relationship with the student instead of merely educating them by just throwing them facts. Teaching is theoretically perceived as one of the kinds of intelligence a teacher must possess in order to teach effectively, a teacher must at least be close to having that and a teacher can always start by having the right and balanced temperament.
