This unit contained information over the different style test their are. At the start of the year most teachers use a diagnostic test. This allows the teacher to see where each student is in their ability to speak English. The next test to use is there practice test. This will prepare students for quiz and test. Followed by a progress test. The progress test will give the teacher a evaluation on where the student has progressed in the lessons. A good teacher will utilize these test to provide each student, and the whole class a level and balance progression in the teaching year. Teachers should also bear in mind the External test to refer students to help them progress along.
