From this unit, I've learned about the differences between the usage in present tense. For example, present simple focus more on the action the the subject is doing. Present continuous is when the subject is currently performing the action at hand. Present perfect expresses the ideas from the past to the present. Present perfection continuous indicates the past activities to the present. The use of present tense can be express base on one's experience. If you've done something in the past and still currently doing it then that's considered present perfect continuous because you've claimed to have done it for so long and you're still doing it at the time of speaking. Present tense is generally use to describe the action or current action that a subject is doing. It will allow the listener to understand exactly when the action takes place.
