From Unit 3 I first learned about nine methodologies for teaching EFL (for example, Audio-lingualism). Then I learned about the ESA method (Engage, Study, Activate) and then methods for eliciting engagement (for example, flashcards). I then learned about three examples of ESA lessons (for example, boomerang). I then learned about twenty ideas for the Engage phase (for example memory games), ten ideas for the Study phase (for example, hangman), and six ideas for the Activate phase (for example, role-playing). I then learned ideas for giving feedback, and techniques for corrections. Finally, I learned ideas for lesson planning for all three ESA stages.
