The reality to having a career as an educator, I understand that one has to play many different roles. These roles all depend on the level of the students, age, cultural background, location and style of teaching/learning. Everyone has a different level and style of learning. Whether it be visual, auditory or kinesthetic. By recognizing these different styles, it allows teachers to be creative with their method of teaching. It also ensures equal learning opportunities for students. In addition, creating a learning context, where students are able to be actively involved, ensures a good learning environment. This allows students to communicate and enjoy the learning process. This also requires them to use the language in a meaningful way that promotes learning. Ultimately, it is important to know how to communicate with different levels of learners. An educator is not someone who just stands in front of a class. An educator is someone who is patient, understanding and interested in the different styles of learning to find the best method to help every student succeed.
