I think lesson planning is very important for teachers of all experience levels. In the past when I have planned lessons I have tried to make sure they were cohesive yet flexible. Lesson planning is also useful because one lesson can be applied to different classes of the same level or even different levels with a little bit of tweaking. I also think reflecting on the effectiveness of the lesson plan is important. Often times things do not go the way we planned when done in a live classroom and it is a good opportunity to better prepare for upcoming classes. I think I will create my own format for lesson planning but appreciate the template provided in this lesson.
