The topic of the fifth unit of this course is classroom management or the skill of organising the class and assuming a proper behavior in order to maintain discipline and create the right atmosphere to engage students in learning. During the unit it has been given special attention to the teacher’s eye contact, gesture and voice. Moreover, they have been described different ways to group students and arrange physical desks layouts focusing on positive and negative sides of each technique as well as consider issues like writing on the board, giving individual attention to the students, avoiding unnecessary teacher talking time, giving instructions and establishing a rapport between teacher and students.
