This unit begins with providing a list of how the future tense is used: It gives the seven uses: The future simple; the future Continuous; the future perfect; the future perfect continuous; Be going + infinitive; (the present simple and the present continuous). with the caveat that #5 and #7 are most frequently used. #5 and #7 Used as present tense - but have future applications. The Usage is the most helpful as it gives a simple and direct reference as to how it is used as well as it gives an example. The "common mistakes/errors" are also very useful...I can see and have seen how TEFL students will make these mistakes...I find them in written narratives, and in written translations. The key to this grammar units is to know under what conditions the tenses can be used...it will be beneficial to correct student speaking and writing...
