The unit teaching new language was very interesting. I learnt about 3 main phrases, vocabulary, grammar and functions. One of the main things I learnt was how important it is to use all 3 sections, and not just focus on one area. I learnt all about what students need to know about a vocabulary item, also some techniques for vocabulary teaching I found these particularly interesting, as now when teaching I know exactly how and what to teach the students in the best way possible. I remember from the previous unit about the esa, and now feel that this time round I remember the information a lot better, and understand how important it is to set the tone of a lesson with engaging, then moving onto the next part without mixing the stages up or confusing the students in anyway, realising how prosise you must be completing the esa.
