This unit explains the past tense and its forms. Like present tense, the past tense comprises of simple form, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous forms. In comparison to present tense, the past tense might be slightly difficult to teach and learn, as some verbs have irregular past form which can be mastered only by memorizing and constant repetition. Thus the need for activities such as using matching cards, Bingo cards, telling stories and making sentences in Activate stage is higher.
