In this unit, In teachers part, I have went through the contents like, What makes a good teacher, The role of the teacher and Which role and when, where I have learned about the special qualities of a good teacher. This parts of the unit taught me to take care about student's knowledge and learning rather than my own teaching. Also, I have learned a teacher's role as a manager, organizer, prompter, model and facilitator and etc. And, found out that a good experienced teacher know when and where to use this characteristics and they know how to engage students with their mimes, gestures and with their voices. In the second, Learners part of the unit, I came across to good learners. I have learned about the special features of good learners which is very important to know. I think this part was really good experience to me,too. Because, I have learned about very important factors like age, culture, language level and motivation which are vital to know in teaching. Also, I became familiar with the different levels of abilities and with their definitions. At the same time, it was clear about the European levels of abilities. And, I came to know that one of the good factors about learner is motivation. To sum up, the relationship between students and teachers is very important and complex. In order to be a good teacher we have to have to be enthusiastic, sensitive and caring teacher. As it is said in the conclusion of this unit, good teachers are more likely to have good students.
