in this unit Teaching Receptive Skills i learnt that what are the reasons to listen and reading then got answer that it can be entainment or some purpose and also defined how many methods of receptive skills we use like predictive skills,skimming,deduction,detailed information,scanning etc and also know about aspected problems while listening and reading. while teaching methods which can help student to get the receptive skills like pre teaching vocabulary,careful seleciotn of texts etc. the selection of topics should be according to the choice of student teaching should creat great interest about topic in the engage phase in receptive skills patchwork protocol that is engage,study,engage,study,active,study,activate.in the end to unite i read some comparision between england and usa people how they wear. thanks
