I feel I have learnt alot from this first section of the course. I have learnt about what makes a good teacher and how I should conduct myself when teaching. some of the main examples been patient, kind and having lots of energy and been able to motivate students which I feel is really important. I have also learnt about the role of the teacher, and how you should try to manage and organize the lesson which I found particularly interesting and I think will be very beneficial. I found the part about what makes a good learner very important, as you can look out for these certain traits and recognise this and it can help you realise more about your students. Reading about all the different levels was very good to know as when teaching I feel I will know how to adapt to each ability or level and be able to plan the lesson accordingly. finally I also learnt a lot about motivation and understanding why students may be learning to speak english, which is great because this is a topic you can discuss with the students, and also can help you to understand their motivation for been here, when trying to get the best out of them when teaching, this I feel is very important.
