I believe teaching aids, especially visual aids, can be used to make classroom lessons more effective and interesting for the students. I am a visual learner and I believe visual aids tend to have more feedback from the students in addition to capturing their attention. Some of the resources that are typically found in the classroom include boards, overhead projectors, DVDs, CD players, dictionaries and course books, and computers. There are positives and negatives about each one, but I found that the positive aspects generally outweigh the negative ones. Each visual aid can be used to successfully plan and organize lessons, which commonly win over the students' attention and interest.
