Unit #12 is probably the most useful of the two (receptive/productive)skills. it was well-presented and I made careful notes on the sections: Before the lesson, During the lesson and After the lesson.
I liked the break down: the presentation of what are receptive skills and their importance in the teaching process.
This unit is very important because it puts the onus on the instructor to think through the basis of the lesson (aims); determine what is important, and to follow a sequence by answering the criteria: Choose materials that interest students, create interest and prepare materials.
The section on Accuracy and Fluency are very important and I learned the distinction between the two and how and when to use them.
I think the section on games should be elaborated more---- as a teaching tool/technique.... to help instructors and students have that variety in the lesson(s).
