In Unit 5 I’ve learned a lot of useful information about managing classes. The unit begins with giving instructions about eye contact, gesture and voice usage. The next step is learning about different ways of grouping students in the classroom, their pros and cons, also general classroom arrangement. In addition, this unit stresses on ways of giving students individual attention, teacher talking time, its advantages and disadvantages, student talking time, giving instructions, establishing rapport and maintaining discipline in the classroom.
