The main content of this unit was on future tenses, giving instruction on how to use and teach all seven of them. These tenses are more difficult than past tenses, as they deal with ideas and predictions instead of factual information. That said, they also are a core part of the English language, and thus need to be learned and understood for students to have a well-rounded education. I found the "Shall vs. Will" section to be of great use, as we do not use "Shall" in America aside from special occasions (e.g. Shall we dance?); however, students may not come to America to use their English, and thus I find that it is important for me to realize that I need to teach all forms of English to my students, not just the parts that are in my region's normal vocabulary.
