In summary, this unit outlines that the English Language has words with distinctive meanings based on their use and function, and these words are categorized into parts of speech. After reading a very thorough explanation and description of parts of speech in this unit, I have an enhanced understanding of each category. This includes my ability to reference examples, identify words by category, and creating sentence examples of each.
