This unit showed how teachers can explain and teach pronunciation and phonology. What I learned was that even though teachers might be confused with these concepts, students can have great value in learning them. Applying the right intonation, stress and sound can make a big difference and is needed to convey the correct meaning and intent. The phonetic alphabet can really help students since they can then get the right pronunciation of a word by reading instead of listening.
