I enjoyed this unit. It was not overwhelming in the amount of material and made sense along with the other lessons. I think the units about receptive and productive skills could have come at the beginning of the course but they are also appropriate to include here to bring things together. But, I am thankful that the unit went through an example of an ESA lesson plan with examples of activities for each stage relating to receptive skills teaching. Otherwise I would have struggled to remember all the activities suggested in previous units for each stage and how they could relate to receptive skills.
