To be a good teacher, one must inspire confidence, know when to be firm, and understand when is the best time to leave students alone to work themselves. By using meaning gestures, a teacher can help convey meaning to their lesson plans and add visual interest to the lesson. I have learned about the variety of classroom arrangements and how to earn the respect of your students during this unit. I feel like I can go into a classroom and effectively have some type of guiding control over it as I understand the numerous teaching methods and approaches.
