I think I sit between the two extremes of having no lesson plan and being too rigid and regimental when planning lessons, I don't believe I would like to walk into a lesson with no plan, I think it's important be able to be flexible. The planning sequence of lessons, considering flexibility, goals, revisions, as well as variety and balance made it easier for me to see a lesson as a whole. The blank lesson plan is very helpful and after reading the completed lesson plan with it's engage, study and activate phases, it seems very do-able.
