This unit is about defining receptive skills and providing training to each them. The unit begins with a reflection on what these skills are and how we read and listen even in our own native language. It then focuses on problems that may arise while teaching those skills and provides ways to avoid those. Finally a sample lesson in provided. This unit was therefore useful to understand how reading and listening should be taught.
