In this unit we have learned some steps how to manage a class.It should be in a friendly, relaxed manner and maintaining discipline.The eye contact ,gesture and the voice of the teacher should be in a way to convey the messages to the students.Good eye contact with the students is essential to establish a good rapport with the students.Learning students' names and grouping students is also important.The way in which you organise the position of the students and yourself is of great importance and depend on the space, types of chairs and tables,age of students, nationality and student personality.Use of overhead projector is an essential thing .we should try to give individual attention as much as possible to the students.The balance between the TTT and STT is very important.You have to give instructions using simple language,visual clues.Be consistent and maintain a disciple always in the class.Create a good rapport between students and teacher.You shall prevent problem behaviors by being punctual, well prepared lessons,not letting your personal feelings influence the treatment of students,not loosing temper,making your lessons interesting and varied,and being enthusiastic about your teaching.
