In this unit I have learnt what makes a 'good teacher' and what makes a 'good student', and the relationship between them to be most effective in teaching .
As students can be varied in a range of ways, older students might have longer intention spans but be more nervous about a new learning experience then younger students, one student maybe highly motivated because of there love for a language and another only there because there Dad made them, students will have different ability's in English language from beginner to advanced. A teacher with qualities such as love of teaching, knowledge of subject, enthusiastic and patience. Together with understanding the roles of the teacher, controlling the class when reading allowed or explaining a topic, tutoring individuals when they need extra guidance, organizing students in activities making sure they are understood and well structured to avoid chaos, participate in activities as a equal to start it up or move it forward, etc. Should be able to bring out the best in each student. A good teacher creates good students.
