Unit 17 explores 'Equipment and Teaching aids' in teaching English as foreign language. I learned that teaching aids are meant to increase students' interest during lessons. There are several teaching aids which can be adapted based on the school and its environment, and a teacher should use these aids to enhance his/ her students' understanding of a lesson. Equipment and teaching aids not only benefit and enhance student interest but it is also a good teacher assistant tool, and in most instances can decrease teacher talk time which is good when it comes to teaching EFL.
