This unit covers the tense system. As noted in the lesson, the tense system holds the "greatest amount of difficulty for students and teachers," and teachers must take note of the twelve tenses. This section covers tense form, usages, and typical student errors as well as teaching ideas for the Activate stage. The four present tenses are as follows: Present Simple, Present Continuous/Present Progressive, Present Perfect and Present Perfect Continuous. This section also covers the affirmative, negative, and question structures of each tense form.
