This course was very helpful in reviewing nouns, pronouns, verbs, and adjectives. However, I most appreciated the in-depth coverage of the more nebulous parts of speech, such as adverbs. Those always give me trouble. This course made comparative adjectives, with their “er” endings, and superlative adjectives, with their “est” endings very easy to remember. I was surprised that the unit had nearly 3 pages about articles, but after mulling them over I see that these pages will provide excellent examples of how to teach articles to my future students. I appreciated learning about auxilary verbs as well. Like adverbs, these little bits of grammar are a challenge to me. I found the three main breakdown categories for prepositions very helpful as well, these being place, time, and movement. There is much to remember, but the explanations in this unit were very logical and easy to grasp.
