Some theorists suggect that lesson planning is not a good idea as there is a possibility to creat a teacher centered lesson.It's true that much lesson planning can stop teacher being flexible in teaching.
On the other hand, it's difficult for inexperienced teachers to be flexible as required.Most teachers find themselves between these in two extremes.They will make notes but build in flexibility.
However,lesson plannig has several advantages:
1)Writing a lesson plan will help to define what students should achieve by end of a lesson.
2) A lesson plan helps you to keep on target and gives you something to refer to during the lesson.
3)A lesson plan helps to remember what a class has done,what materials/games have been used.
