This unit was particularly helpful with figuring out how to get past obstacles. In a class, especially a large class, of students who don’t natively speak English it can be kind of hard to keep them on track. This is sometimes due to their lack of familiarity with certain terms, not being completely comfortable in a class setting with others that they don’t know, and many more obstacles. However this unit was great with providing options for getting past those. Some of those options were icebreaking activities for the teacher and students, and with students amongst themselves. This will be beneficial to me, especially when dealing with those of many backgrounds.
