This unit covered modals, phrasal verbs and the passive voice. The modal auxiliary verbs were outlined and their uses expressed, such as obligation, possibility, permission, ability and advice. Speech is made up of a passive and active voice. Relative clauses have 3 types: independant, depedant and relative. Phrasal verbs have 3 types: intransitive, transitive separable, and transitive inseparable. Common mistakes by learners were also reviewed.
