This was one of the easiest units to understand while probably the most important. Having proper lesson plans for each class is good for the reasons highlighted at the start of the unit, particularly in regards to record keeping. Having notes for each class will allow a teacher to pick up from a lesson plan that may have run long, or return to a particular topic not covered although planned to. Each plan is said to not be too rigid which good, but again, written documentation for goals for both the student and teacher is important. Lastly, having a plan is important also in case a teacher will not be available to teach a class and a sub is needed.
