There are problems that come with listening and reading and that is deducing the meaning from a text.Hence the teacher has to be careful when choosing texts between authentic texts which will expose students to texts that should give the confidence in their skills or choose non-authentic texts that will allow students access to material that contain language more suited to the student ability.
