In this unit, the two videos depict what makes a good lesson and what makes a bad lesson. The first video depicted a bad lesson because the teacher was not responding well to the student's mistakes and constantly kept correcting them or bluntly stating they were wrong. He was unorganized and rushed the lesson, which caused major confusion in the classroom. In the second video, it depicts a more effective way to get students involved, such as introducing oneself and then engaging the students to do the same. The lesson was outlined better and the teacher did not rush students to finish an activity. I believe that these two videos do a good job in highlighting what works and what doesn't for students. It also gives us a clear picture of the techniques that one shouldn't use. We must be organized, well prepared and have patience with students because this is a learning lesson.
