The future tense is the most complex because the future can be expressed in such a wide variety of ways. Not only to we use the future tense, we also use several present tenses and other verb combinations. I think that in order to teach future tense, a student must have already learned present tense and auxiliary verbs, because these are necessary for a lot of the ways we express the future. I love the teaching ideas like dressing up as a fortune teller! My Spanish teacher did that years ago and I still remember it. I can't wait to use that idea in my own teaching!
