This unit basically talks about the Teacher and the Learner. It goes further to give a rough evaluation of who a teacher or a learner is. Furthermore, the unit throws more light on what should expect from a good teacher, and also from a good learner. Fundamentally, the unit defines a good teacher as someone who loves his/her job and cares not only about his/her teaching, but also about the learners.
More importantly, this unit also expresses the different roles played by a teacher such as a manager, prompter, motivator, evaluator, organizer model etc, stating the different roles the teacher plays in each of the roles.
lastly, the unit tells us of the different kinds of learners and the influence of their ages to their learning attitude. Irrespective of the learning attitude, the unit also gives us a breakdown of the different stages of learning of English and the nomenclature of these levels.
