I believe this section breaks down the speaking of the English language into pronunciations, intonations, and articulations. We must understand and comprehend how to make the sound of words in order for people to understand what is being said and how we mean to say it. As stated in the lesson, Intonation is the variation in volume and pitch in a sentence. I believe the easiest method of teaching and learning this concept is through visual and physical illustrations and examples. Its easier to practice the movement of your mouth than drawing the different sounds on the board for explanations. Teaching examples of pronunciations include: gestures, humming, clapping, visual depictions, and tongue twisters.
