This unit taught me about modal verbs, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. It is good to have a definition of modal verbs, because I think those are words that are often debated, even by English speakers, what part of speech they are. Phrasal verbs are almost like slang. I agree that they should just be sprinkled in with other vocabulary so they can be absorbed naturally. Finally, passive voice is very useful, and I feel I have good knowledge on its concept because of studying Japanese where there are different verbs for talking in passive or active voice.
