After students chose and discuss about their favorite books or films, they write synopsis of it using the past simple past tense. They study further with the synopsis(meaning formation, pronunciation).

Students talk about their favorite activities in free time and find two students in the class who want to join their favorite activities. They compare their language use with dialogue in tape and learn appropriate language function usage. They do exercises for learning language function using role-play.
