In this Unit I took a look at productive skills that are speaking and writing.While speaking and writing are considerably different in many ways,they both are used for the same purpose - to communicate. Generally writing is the most neglected skill when it comes to learn a language. It's true to say that most students focus on their speaking skills but it doesn't mean writing should be ignored. In many ways writing is more diffucult skill as it requires high degree of accuracy. When speaking, any mistakes can be cleared up on the spot whereas this is not possible with writing.On the other hand,speaking requires a greater degree of fluency as the speaker doesn't have time to plan an answer.
