The unit has been about phonetics and phonology, phonology being a more frequently used word to describe the science that explains the ways of pronouncing letters and syllables in a language. The English phonology is a bit tricky to teach, especially with students who have English for a second language. The best way to teach phonology, as I see it, is practice, having heard the word over and over, and having choral drills will help "carve" the correct pronunciation into the subconscious.
