This unit focuses on teaching pronunciation and phonology of English; different aspects that an EFL teacher needs to know such as intonation, stress and its placement in words and sentences, as well as some useful techniques to teach it to students. I have gained knowledge about the different categorization of sounds in English based on place and manner of articulation as well as the difference between voiced and voiceless sounds based on whether there is a vibration in the vocal cords during the production of the sound.
