This Unit was one of the most useful in terms of planning lesson, because it pointed all main EFL's methodologies with brief description and also some general conclusions how the students should be approached during the lesson. Furthermore it includes 'ESA' elements - Engage, Study and Activate with very practical description, useful gaps for teachers and examples of each component. These practical ideas of language activities, divided by each component are crucial, because I can prepare full-time lesson by combining them. The importance of feedback was also covered, which gave me better understanding how positive feedback should be used and which advantages it has. In this Unit there was also raised very important element of the lesson - correction. I was always wondering how and when I should correct my future students. Now I know all !
The last part was interesting and for sure I will get back in the future to have very instant plan of the lesson, knowing what is the main point of each element.
To sum up, this Unit was very important for me, as a future teacher, because it can help me with lesson-planning and also it is showing what to 'bear in mind' from the perspective of both: teachers and students, higlighting also the differences of languages level and culture.
