Some distinctions in the questions in this unit quiz are very subtle, and Native English speakers could (and will) use them interchangeably. For instance, Question 18 asks, "Kate asked John, “Are you working tomorrow?”', and either #3 or #4 would be understood as suitable responses. "Kate asked John if he was working the following day." Or, "Kate asked John if he was going to work the following day." Although I believe #4 is correct, since it implies Kate's original question was posed to John with regard to a future perfect, #3 would also be understood.
