The definition of "Phonology" is the study, science, analysis and classification of the physical properties of sounds. Stress, Rhythm, and Intonation and their characteristics and differences need to be understood. The International Phonetic Alphabet should be studied to the point that one is comfortable with it. I especially enjoyed reading George Bernard Shaw's poem on "Hints for Pronunciation for Foreigners". I appreciate very much the teaching techniques that were recommended as well as the "manner and place of articulation" table.
