This unit has to do with the materials which the teacher uses in the classroom. There are two types of materials. The first one is called the authentic materials. these are materials which. they are not prepared for the lesson, but the students can use them to learn. The second type of materials are called non-authentic materials. These are materials which are prepared specifically for the use of the classroom lessons. most of the materials used in the classroom will include, flashcards, videos, magazines, pictures, books...... The teacher will also need to come up with a lesson plan. This will help the teacher understand the various stages and objectives of the lesson. He will be able to envisage the various problems he and the students might encounter, what are the objectives of the lesson, how the lesson should unfold and procedures. Certain books will be needed by the teacher. some of the books could be strictly about the language and some could be strictly about business. so the teacher should be able to know which book to use with the students. Finally there is the internet.
