Unit 14 explains the importance of choosing right material and course books for the lesson. Material for lesson can be authentic and created. Authentic material consider to be books, newspapers, songs, movies, e.t.c. Created materials are usually designed by the teacher. Examples of created materials are crosswords, puzzels, gap fill activities e.t.c. Course books usually consist of set of materials: student book, workbook, teacher's book, video and other published materials.
