I unit 19, I have come to learn about the different groups of English learners. They are beginners, individual students, children, and business students aka 'clients'. These are the basic core of what an English teacher needs to be prepared to teach. Also, which techniques to apply to each group and which activity would be most suitable for each group.
I think it's encouraging to learn that most teachers find it most rewarding to teach children as they absorb language with greater easy. Although they lack in attention span.
In my opinion, teaching business people is most challening due to their hectic work schedule, work load, interference, different objectives and different language skill levels.
Overall, this is a good unit as it prepares the teacher for what to expect when teaching these special groups.
