I have enjoyed reviewing the information in this unit, especially the information on course books, as a new teacher I know that course books will be a valuable recourse as I gain confidence in teaching, but I also feel educated to the limitations that they have. I feel confident creating my own materials to use in the classroom and online and i'm sure that with time I will collect a lot of personal resources that I can use and re-use. As I live in the same area that I plan to be teaching in, it will be easier for me to use resources that are appropriate for the children that I will be teaching.
