In this chapter, we have seen the importance of productive skills: speaking and writing. At first, for the speaking activities in the classroom, it goes through controlled, guided activities and creative communication. Then, we went over techniques to encourage interaction and a typical speaking lesson. At the moment, during my courses, I am using often this engage study activate, I found out the example interesting.
Secondly, for the writing skills, we have seen the importance of handwriting, spelling, punctuation and a typical writing activity lesson. This engage study activate example was really useful, it helps me to improve my teaching.
I agree that we give more attention to speaking that writing. In my previous schools and currently, I have noticed that we focus more on speaking than writing, It is often given as a homework and the students prefer to improve their speaking skills.
